Anyone buying this and expecting it to compete with larger saws with bigger motors and blades will be disappointed. However, I have been using it for several outdoor projects with excellent results. It cuts through pressure-treated 2 x 4s easily and 2 x 6s with 2 passes. (It probably could do it in 1, but why push it needlessly. Overall, this is a nice and useful saw that meets a variety of needs without requiring hauling a bigger saw to your worksite. Very pleased.
