Bought this hoping it would break loose the bolt holding my rear shocks on my 2010 Chrysler T&C Van. It could not break the nut loose. My fault, I was just hoping it would and I had no idea what the bolt was torque to. Took it to my merchant and he broke it loose with a Milwaukee battery powered drill. Asked how much it cost for the drill, $500.00 in a kit. Has 900 lbs. of torque and if I was a fulll time auto repair man I would buy. But a 70 ytears of age just don't think I can justify the 500 dollars. Back to the dewalt works great for removing lug nuts and other things in the shop. I am glad I bought this DeWalt Impact wrench for use as a DIY home owner.This item was suppose to contain a heavy-duty kit box but instead came with a soft bag. I was going to buy one for about $40 less but I wanted the box which I didn't end up receiving anyway. Use it to raise a scissor jack, it'll make it simple. It doesn't rotate especially fast, but it's consistent and no task is too tough for this tool. It works on any nuts or bolts that are too tight. Bring it on the road with a 12 to 120 volt power inverter (900 watts or more), in case you have a flat. It is capable of being bounced around in a construction environment without a hard box but a box is a necessity for storage and stacking. The description and photo indicate a box but that is not how this product shows up. Bags are for homeowners not contractors!It wouldn't break the lug nuts free - simply not enough power. Your money would be better spent buying a mid-size air compressor and an air impact wrench.It did do a good job of reinstalling the lug nuts.Buyer beware - this item DID NOT come with the hard case as pictured. Got a soft side bag instead. Shop around! I could have had it for $34 dollars cheaper without the case.IT HAS NO POWER, CAN'T REMOVE MY CAR TIRE BOLTS- tire bolts is about 90 foot pounds. and thisimpact driver it suppose to have 340 foot pounds .where is the power?
