In general I like the chainsaw and I'm very happy that I purchased this item however it is top heavy. Extending it all the way to try to cut down limbs in a tree is dangerous because of how heavy it is. Besides that it works like a charmThis is my first experience with a pole saw, so I do not have a point of reference in that respect. I really like:1. Cutting power. It surprised me with how well it cut through a pretty large branch.2. The 2-in-1 design definitely comes in handy for different parts of the job. The chainsaw has a very comfortable/confidence-inducing grip.I do not like:1. The tensioning screw is difficult (at least for me) to tighten while keeping the chain and bar on the pin. Once I figured out how to do it I have not encountered any issues with the chain loosening.2. The oil reservoir hemorrhages oil no matter how I position the chainsaw. This compounds #1 because oil will get everywhere during the process.3. It can get very heavy and unwieldy when the pole saw is extended. The pole saw handle/trigger feel positioned too far down the pole when working on far-away branches.4. I tired using this on long, thin branches on my palo verde and the chain just bounces them around. I am not sure if I should fault it for this or if it is the wrong tool for this application.Overall I am happy with this product and would probably buy it again.Chains keep coming off.Was a real asset in a recent tree project. Mine is the corded version and I am impressed with both the build quality and capabilities. The saw performs very well. We also had a larger 14” electric on the job and this one felt like it would keep up with that one if it had a longer bar. Planning to replace the chain with a Stigl since the factory chain noticnly dulled limb work on oaks. Other than that it is an ingenious product for home owners to maintain their trees and for hand use without the pole to break down firewood.Works great and gets the job done but a bit heavier than advertised.Had trouble getting pole and saw to couple properly. Works great as a small hand held. Have not tried with pole yet. More later.This is an awesome little tool for the yard. Very easy to use. Does get a little cloged with dirt and such by the chain when using the saw without the pool. But easy to clean..Heavy and chain consistently loosened.
