We wanted something for starting our new garden. We also didn't want to have to rebuild the carburetor every year. We went with electric. VERY happy with this so far. Used only 2x so far, since it's just getting a little warmer now. But it went through the dirt without trouble and we got our garden tilled. We will use it again in a few weeks again just before we plant, but this tiller does the job, and we are going to keep it indoors when not in use, so hopefully we have many years of use ahead of us.
